F.A.Question
The most frequent question we get asked is how long it will take to get your photos.
This is one of those questions that never has an exact answer. The best we can offer is approximate times. The reason for this is that every wedding is photographed in different locations, has different amounts of photos and different requirements in relation to post production.
We may photograph for 4 hours a wedding that is on a beach with 25 guests or shoot a wedding for 8 hours in a church, location shots in the city and 300 guests. The difference between these is considerable.
If we were photographing in the city we may need to remove bystanders from the background whereas we would not need to do this for park shots with no-one around.
Therefore you can see that the time it would take to get these photos ready would be very different.
What if a spec of dust made its way into the camera when we were changing lenses in windy weather? You would want us to digitally remove that spot from your photos or leave it there?
Our approximate time to get your photos on CD is 4 months with a leeway of a few weeks each side of this timeframe. We don’t make you wait a year like some studios, but it does make a year to make your designer album.
The most frequent question we ask our clients is:
“What is more important to you? To get your photos in record time or to wait a while to receive your photos to allow us to achieve the results you desire?”
We also ask that you kindly remember that we are a small boutique studio with a very small team dedicated to you on your wedding day. We are not a cast of thousands working on a production line. We put personal expertise into your photos.
We photograph many weddings each year which totals about 100,000 photos to proof, 30 albums to design and retouch, countless enlargements to retouch, portraits to proof and frame, and much more.
